The Credco Credit Report product is a consumer report purchased by lenders to evaluate “creditworthiness” for consumer mortgage loans, auto loans, and other credit applications. Lenders use the Credco Credit Report product to approve or deny loan applications, as well as to price loans.

Credco obtains personal data from each of the three major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) and “merges” that data into a single Credco consumer report file. Accordingly to Cotality, Credco Credit Reports are the, “most accepted credit report solution.” Cotality also explains that it is, “the initial inventor and patentee of the tri-merge credit report, which provides a comprehensive view of a borrower's credit history, combining information from all three credit bureaus into one report, offering lenders a complete picture of creditworthiness.”
